Accessibility Statement
Our commitment
Eden Restaurant is committed to equal service for all customers, including people with disabilities. This website was made accessible in accordance with the Israeli Equal Rights for Persons with Disabilities (Service Accessibility Adjustments) Regulations 2013 and Israeli Standard SI 5568, based on WCAG 2.0 level AA. We aim to meet WCAG 2.1 level AA.
What we have done
- Full keyboard navigation with a clearly visible focus indicator and a “skip to main content” link.
- Semantic headings, landmarks (header, nav, main, footer) and lists for screen readers.
- Text alternatives for images; labels and clear error messages for every form field.
- Text colour contrast of at least 4.5:1.
- We respect the operating system's reduced-motion setting, and animations can be stopped.
- Cart updates are announced to screen readers.
- A persistent accessibility menu: text size, high contrast, grayscale, highlight links, readable font and stop animations. Settings are saved in your browser.
- Tested in Chrome, Safari, Firefox and Edge on desktop and mobile, and with automated tools (axe).
